Friday, May 1, 2015…ARE YOU SULFITE SENSITIVE….There’s only one way to find out….complete elimination from your diet. If all your symptoms go away after eliminating the offending food, or foods, you are sulfite sensitive. Keep in mind most sulfite sensitive people have Asthma, but not all!
The fact is that sulfites are one of the top 10 most common food allergens and the FDA (USA) states that 1 out of every 100 people has some type of sensitivity to sulfites.
This chemical sensitivity isn’t considered a true allergy, but some can test positive for sulfite reactions in skin allergy tests.
