Natural Wart Removal

When you see warts, the first thing that you will surely think about would be how to get rid of them. The default choice for many people would be the wart removal treatments that are offered in various dermatological clinics. While they can prove to be effective, one of the drawbacks is that they will be very expensive, and hence, not a sound alternative for those who have limited budget. The good news is that there are cheaper and natural remedies that can prove to be as effective, including those that will be noted in this article.

The moisture that is naturally present in banana will make it effective in softening warts. For best effect, it is recommended that you use yellow green or green bananas. Simply soak the area with warts for about ten minutes and remove dead skin with the use of pumice stone. Apply tea tree oil and put the banana peel with a bandage. Replace the banana peel once it has already dried.

The lipid extracts that are derived from cloves of garlic are the ones that make it excellent for the removal of warts. Cut one clove of garlic into two parts. Use the cloves to wipe the area affected with warts. The goal is to cover it with as much garlic juice as possible. Once this is done, use an athletic tape to attach the garlic to the wart and leave it there overnight.

The stems, roots, and leaves of dandelion enjoy an extensive history in wart removal. The white sticky resin that can be derived from such parts can be applied directly to the warts. In turn, this will gradually dissolve the warts.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Once you have thoroughly cleaned the area with warts, apply a few drops of apple cider vinegar in a cotton ball. With the use of any adhesive that is available, have the cotton ball attached to the affected area and leave if there for at least a night or until whenever it is needed. This will result into making the wart black, which means that you can already peel it off.

If you often use basil for cooking, you can also use it as a home remedy for warts. The antiviral compounds that can be found in this herb make it able to kill the viruses that lead into wart. All that you need to do is to take out a couple of basil leaves and have them crushed. Cover the area with warts with the use of the crushed leaves and Band-Aid. Have it reapplied as needed.

Duct Tape

While this may seem to be a bit morbid, this will actually work. Simply cover the warts with a duct tape and leave it there for a couple of days. Remove the duct tape slowly. Wet the warts and scrape whatever you can remove from the surface. This should have softened already since it is wet and has been covered for some time.

Essential Oils

A wide array of essential oils is also rich with antiviral components that will make it possible for you to get rid of warts. Dilute a drop of your choice of essential oil with a carrier oil, which can be almond, olive, or coconut oil. Cover it with a duct tape afterwards and remove it. Make sure that the size of duct tape will be enough to cover the affected area.

While honey will generally be good for wart removal, it will be best if you can use Manuka honey. It has a very potent concentration that makes it abundant of antibacterial and antiviral properties. Simply put a thick layer of honey where the wart is and have it covered for about 24 hours.

Pineapple Juice

The acidity of pineapple juice is the main factor that makes it an excellent choice for the removal of warts. You simply have to soak the warts in fresh and pure pineapple juice for around five minutes. Pat it dry with a towel after the said duration. Proceed with filing, if it is preferred and if the area will not be too sensitive.

The last but not the least, you have to modify your diet. This proposed solution is quite general than the others that have been mentioned, but it can prove to be effective in the prevention of warts. It is important to enhance your immune system to make sure that warts will not develop. Incorporate a lot of green leafy vegetables and whole grains in your diet. Make sure that you also get the right amount of sleep and rest.
